mirena coil

5 months ago i had the mirena coil removed due to the amount of bad side effects i had from it...i only had it in 5 months but from day one i had problems i ended up so ill from it my whole body would be in pain and i spent a lot of my time in bed...i just wanted to know if anyone else had problems with it ? and a hard time trying to get doctors to listen.

Mine was great until it fell out! In seriousness, I know a fair few women who have had issues with it, be that constantly bleeding, weight gain or other bits. You can just ask to have it taken out, you don't need a reason.

Hey, I've had mine nearly 2 years and haven't had a problem with it, my periods never stopped until now, not had a period for 9 weeks I've done 3 tests all negative. Had pregnancy symptoms got the docs nxt wk but not knowing why they've suddenly stopped is annoying. Has anybody had the same thing?
