Hi, Just wondering if anyone has had this and how they ended up getting one? How was it, any problems/improvements over other forms of contraception?
I have many problems with the Pill-can't find one that suits and the Mirena was a bit of a disaster for me. I want to ask the GP about the Nuva Ring...or see if I can convince them to put me on Dinette, the only pill that didn't cause me problems! Thanks!

I had the nuva after DS. I used it for approx 6 months and in the last couple of weeks have been trying to remember why I stopped!

I used it for a few months, loved it, virtually no side effects for me, came up during sex once but popped it back in.
Was a battle to get it prescribed as it's very expensive and another doc took me off it due to migraines, then had Mireya which I found fab too.
Good luck!

Thanks, well I should have a case- I had a baby in Aug 2013 and have yet to find something that suits. I'm on Femodette which does not make me bleed daily like every other pill does (or other pills caused other side effects) but I am very sad/anxious/depressed- things are stressful enough without a pill making me feel worse! I tried a Mirena-only lasted 2 months; bled every day with it and even bled when I had the Mirena plus the pill. I think either I need to go back on Dinette, which they won't do easily, or ask about Nuva ring. I think it gives both oestrogen and progesterone (Mirena is just progesterone) so maybe it may suit me better as well as acting more locally than the pill?
