Is it possible for Cerelle to stop working?!

I was on Cerazette for 4/5 years, with no problems, no periods at all, it was great. Then it got changed to Cerelle as apparently Cerazette's been dis continued.

Again it was fine, no problems at all. I then had a 3 month break at the beginning of this year as I was taking Roaccutane for my skin. I stopped taking Roaccutane and went back on to the pill.

Again, no problems at all, no bleeding at all for 6 months. Now in these last 8 weeks I've had 3 periods! Not particularly heavy ones, but definitely periods, lasting 4/5 days, although I haven't been getting the horrendous period pains I used to get.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? I'm starting to wonder if the pill has stopped working, is that even possible?!
