Anyone use it? Currently breastfeeding dc3 (7mo) and on mini pill but it is giving me horrible mood swings. I've had the implant before but had to have it removed early so I'm not too keen on other hormone based contraceptives. This seems to leave me with barrier methods or nfp but I'd be really grateful to hear your experiences with this. Also any advice in where to start with it! Thanks very much

My husband and I used Family Planning for years and found it very helpful. You need to have regular periods and pay attention to your body. Also you need to be okay with the fact that you might get pregnant.

This is the website I used. It was also very helpful in trying to get pregnant. I would use condoms for at least 3 months until your cycle can resume it's own natural course, especially if you've been on any hormones.

Also, noticing your nickname, the reason my husband and I don't use family planning now is from sleep deprivation. It can affect your cycle and it's easier to make a mistake when your not really all there.

Best of luck!
