Just looking for a bit of advice...
I had the copper coil fitted on 31st July and stopped my contraceptive pill immediately on advice from the Family Planning Clinic. No problems with the fitting, fair bit of manageable stomach cramping etc and light bleeding for 2-3 days after (more bleeding from the "trauma" as apposed to a real period / withdrawal bleed IYSWIM). But, I haven't had a period yet. When off (and on) hormonal contraceptive before I've always had really regular periods but nothing yet and no PMT either.
As far as I can tell it's still there but they didn't show / tell me how to check it's still there or exactly what I should be feeling for and I'm not due for my check-up until 16th September (I think).
Should I be concerned?
