Weird AF, very late. Barely bleeding. Experience??

I don't know if anyone has ever experienced anything similar.

My af was due at the latest on 31st July. On 1st August I had some brown discharge in the evening so figured af was coming but it stopped. Over the next few days I had brown blood and pink blood spotting on and off. It was only when I wiped, nothing has come onto my knickers yet.

Yesterday and today after going for a number 2 I have had some red blood but it's not been flowing out, only when I've sort of wiped just inside my vagina if that makes sense. I've put a small tampon in both times and checking them a couple of hours later they've been dry.

On Tuesday night/wed morning I took a couple of tesco cheapie tests and both were bfn. I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant (in previous pregnancies I've always had lots of mucous but I'm very dry currently) but we use a mix of condoms & withdrawals so not outside the realms of possibility.

Has anyone had an af like this that just seems a sort of light non starter? Or has this been a precursor to pregnancy for anyone??

I'm usually very regular at 29 days with the occasional 33 days thrown in. Typically starts as brown blood and within 24 hours is full flow heavy for 2-3 days then it gradually decreases over the next 5-6 days. I usually have to wear super tampons and a pad as I bleed so heavily so this is highly unusual.

I know pregnancy is a consideration but with my dry cm, and the fact oh and I are usually careful and have always used condoms bar 2 or 3 times we've withdrawn instead I'm thinking pregnancy is surely highly unlikely.

Don't know if this has any bearing on the af delay but I'm also seriously overheating despite the weather being rubbish. I mean seriously sooooooo hot I feel sick.

Think you might want to see your doc. Still sounds like pregnancy to me. I think you should ask for a blood test, might rule it out entirely.

Well yesterday morning my period arrived, was cramping horribly and I expected it to be mega heavy but it's not. I had one heavy bit when I first got up this morning and now it's as light as what is expect on day 5-6 not day 2. No cramping anymore or anything thankfully though.

Guess I expected for a period almost 2 weeks late it's be a crazy heavy one, just another experience of my stupid cycle. Thanks for all your advice though.
