I had the copper coil fitted at the beginning of May. I always had heavy periods before, but never any pain at all. I had three periods since it was fitted and they all have been very painful. I am in so much pain, I can't sleep during the night. Last night was another night with only two hours of sleep. I tried paracetamol, ibuprofen and Naproxen but the only thing that makes it a bit better is co-codamol 30/500mg.
Did anybody have similar experiences? Will the pain eventually stop/get better or am I better off having it removed? I can't take the pill. My depression get a lot worse and I get panic attacks etc.
