Weight gain on Norgeston????

I've been on norgeston for about 3 months.I've gained (at least!) half a stone and feel very bloated (face puffy and stomach bloated) Is this a common side effect and has anyone had this and its settled down. I'm not eating any more - if anything I'm trying to eat less (or am I just fooling myself?) Since having to come off combined pills due to high blood pressure I've tried a few different pills (Cerazette - no sex drive so a very good contraceptive choice!) Noriday (bled for weeks at a time) and the latest (fat and bloated!) Any ideas? Don't really fancy Mirena as put off by a copper coil experience many moons ago!

Hi interesting to read your post as I've been on exactly the same types of mini pill after coming off marvelon combined pill due to high blood sugars (I'm type 1 diabetic) but had irregular periods/breakthrough bleeding on all of them. Cerezette made me feel dreadful and sick all the time, noriday my periods were all over the place and now on norgeston and still getting stop/start periods and feel so bloated especially around tummy and feel so uncomfortable around whole pelvic area. Feel like I've put weight on and nothing feels comfortable to wear anymore. I feel I'm about to scream! Considering going back to marvelon cos at least I felt ok ?? planning to refer back to doctors and hope you do too.
