pill question help please

My friend finishes her pill Tuesday (Microgynon 30) and instead of her restarting on the following Wednesday she wants to start next Friday

How does she do this I said just take the normal pills back to back to Friday is this right?

If she's meant to have a 7 day break only, she's at risk of pregnancy if she has a 10 day break.

Running two packs back to back with no break as you suggested is probably best.

She should know this anyway. The leaflet inside the box explains it all if she wants to re read it.

She could just have 2 days off then start the next pack. She might or might not get a bleed.

In general, you're ok to take more than 21 pills in a row, or to have less than 7 days break between packs, and you'll still be protected.

But if you take less than 21 pills, or leave more than 7 days between packs, then you'll be at risk of getting pregnant (assuming she's actually having sex of course!)
