I had the Mirena coil fitted yesterday for heavy bleeding. I felt generally ok. While cooking dinner (9 hours later) I started to feel pretty nauseous. When my partner got home I was throwing up down the loo and that continued for the next 5 hours :-( I have only mild abdominal cramping.
This morning I felt a lot better, so had some toast and an hour later I was feeling nauseous again. Just read the info booklet which says less than 1 in 10 women may experience nausea.
Anyone else experienced nausea? And did it settle after a while?
