I've come off microgynon because it was affecting my mental health and my doctor wants me to try celest. I've struggled on the injection and on cerazette too. Can anyone else tell me their experiences of cilest please.

I had it to reduce spots.

It did that nicely and was fine.

The only problems I did have was I started feeling pregnant each month (bleed normal), then I started feeling quite broody, even though I didn't want/need any more dc. Ever.

It was quite funny really. Never heard of this happening to anyone else! Went back onto femodene (also ok)

Cilest made me bleed between periods, I can't remember what affect it had on my mood though. I stopped taking it because of the constant bleeding, tried a few others and am now on Yasmin. Yasmin is great for my skin but I do suffer from mood swings on occasion.
Cilest may work for you unfortunately the only way is to try it.

I love cilest.

I have been on it for many years apart from a break when breast feeding and have had no issues.

I have used cerazette in the past and hated it.
