I had my Mirena fitted just over two weeks ago and started bleeding just a week after, which was the right time for my period.
It started off very light & browney in colour but has steadily got heavier and is bright red, with no sign of stopping. (I've had it fit to help with heavy periods and what to give it a fair trial)
I know it can take a while to settle but has anyone else had such bright red bleeding?
How long did you leave it before getting checked out at the doctors for the length of bleeding ? ( I know it can go on for weeks/months )
