Yasmin and bleeding - is this typical?

I started taking Yasmin 10 days ago on the first day of my period but have been bleeding lightly for the past 7 days.
This is the first time I've taken the pill for 7 years.

Is this typical of Yasmin - I don't want to be constantly bleeding!

No, I did not have any bleeding when I was taking yasmin. Go to your GP.

Hi OP, I have odd bleeding on Yasmin too. I start light bleeding about 14 days into the pack, so I'm bleeding for 2 weeks instead of 1 - not much fun! Have been to GP and she prescribed Femodene which has a different progesterone level. Haven't tried it yet, will be starting next month. I recpmmend seeing your GP. Good luck
