Sterilisation after c-section?

I'm having baby no5 in january and have never had a c-section before but i'm considering asking for one as i know i don't want anymore babies and would like my tubes tied during the operation.

How likely would my midwife agree to this or even think to allow it having had all previous vaginal births?

And who do i approach doctor or midwife?

Having had to have CSs not by choice, I wouldn't!

You could certainly mention it next time you see one of them. I imagine they wouldn't be keen - it is major abdominal surgery after all - no harm in asking though.

Better to have it done afterwards as keyhole surgery IMO.
