Will they still do it?

Had to wait 8 weeks for this appointment Hmm

I'm pretty sure they always used to fit them at the beginning of your period on purpose?

wintersdawn · 26/08/2013 13:28

some doctors prefer to fit them when you are on your period some don't seem to mind when they do it.

MoaningMingeWhingesAgain · 26/08/2013 13:28

Just checked a load of NHS resources and some say great to do it during period, some say not on the heaviest days, some say best fitted just after the period Grin

Clear as mud.

I would check with the clinic fitting it, be a shame to rearrange now.

I have a mirena, it's been fine mostly. Next to no bleeding once it had settled in. I will get another when it needs replacing. unless we win the lottery and I will have more babies instead Grin
