Evening.
I had to take the MAP today (Levonelle) and am nervous!

I use a mini pill (Micronor) as contraception, but missed one and took it 7 hours late. MAP was taken 16 hours after intercourse, so I'm hoping that was early enough for a good chance of success. The thing is, I don't have any periods using my mini pill so I've no idea whereabouts in my cycle I should be. If I get a bleed post MAP, does that mean I'm not pregnant? What about if I don't get a bleed... when would it be the best time to do a meaningful pg test?

I'm pretty sure taking a mini pill 7 hours late would mean you were protected anyway. Taking the MAP when you did shod ensure you are ok. You most likely won't bleed if you are still taking your pills but if you really want to be sure then give it around 3 weeks and test.

Thanks, purple.

At first I thought 7 hours late was ok too, but having checked I realised this counts as a missed pill because the window for my particular pill is 3 hours. The pharmacist verified this and said I wasn't covered so I should take a MAP.

I know I've got a pretty good chance, but can't help being a bit nervous in this situation. Have a track record of being uber-fertile! Confused

Ah the fun of the 2-week-wait...!
