OK I'm finally open to ideas

I have quite bad periods every month, I have bad mood swings despite having oil of evening primrose and its all generally unpleasant

I am not on any form of contraception, having been since 2007 and its very unlikely I will ever conceive
I am married
Should I use some form of contraception to ease the pains of having a period or grin and bear it naturally until its all over in about 20 years time?

If you aren't wanting to start a family, consider a Mirena coil, all but stopped my periods & the miniscule slow release of hormones in it helps to steady the moods.

Mixed reactions to it on here I know but for me best thing I ever did!

Don't know what evidence there is behind this, so forgive me if this is not correct, but I have heard that period pains can get worse as childless women get older. I would be discussing this with gp.
