have been told lots of horror stories about having it out. . whats it really like? (:

Are we talking about a form of coil here? IE Mirena/copper?

If so, they come out far easier than they go in. They are basically in a T-shape in the womb but are designed that when they are removed, the cross bar closes so the whole device is a straight line. At least that's the simple version as told by my doc. But removal certainly hurt less than insertion. Smile
