Copper coil fitted yesterday..... no threads

I had my mirena coil replaced with a copper iud yesterday and there arent any threads on the new one.

I can feel my cervix but definitely no threads and I never had a problem with finding them on the last one.Come to think of it I haven't had cramps since yesterday.

Could it have fallen out already??

Can't imagine it's fallen out, I'm sure you would of noticed! Sounds like they've cut the threads too short. I'd go to gp or family planning clinic and get them to check properly for you and put ur mind to rest.
