Mirena coil help please!

Hi all. I had a mirena coil fitted last month. I had a bit of spotting that night and the following day then nothing. My period came as normal when due and it's still here- now into 3rd week of constant bleeding and cramping. Is this normal? It's making me feel shit.

I'm afraid it can happen, it's one of the possible side effects. I had it removed for the same reason but then I had big fibroids and they were pushing the coil out of place. I would check with your GP and they might send you for a scan to see if the coil is still in place. Best of luck.
