I have just invested in a mooncup on mumsnet's advice. It has been ok. I am not blown away by its fabulousness. Just took it out for the last time this month and along with it came my copper coil. So now I am contraceptionless and have to go to the gp to get sorted. What a pain.

Anyone else had that experience?

Thank you for convincing me to never buy a mooncup!

Have you read the thread about the woman who forgot up her fanjo for a month, when she couldnt find it anywhere (28 days later) she remembered where she had left it!

Sorry, not helpful with your situation though....good luck with that!

Good gracious - I was quite aware of its presence somehow but that can't have been pleasant. Have been negotiating With the gps on the phone today and will get a new one before long.

What a bother! (although perhaps copper coil was not fitted correctly or positioned correctly and thats why this happened?) maybe you've just been saved from an unwanted pregnancy!
