So, I have a baby who is 9months, only had one period since the birth, last period 17th feb 2013. suffer from pcos. Un protected sex, but husband was careful. Lower back pains... ?? Confused..

You can be fertile before the return of periods, and protection via exclusive round the clock bf is only in first 6 months.

I was meant to get a test today! But failed to. So it's just playing on my mind.

Went to doctors regarding periods not on time, she was going to put me on the pill to help periods etc. but said to do a test.. I get the results Thursday...

Perhaps you need to look at the WHO and NHS on using lactatinal amenhorrhea as a contraceptive (you need to scroll down to below the NFP section to reach LAM).

The NHS gives a 1:200 failure rate over the 6months it recommends it. Assuming this translates to a 4:100 per year (which is the standard way of quoting contraceptive effectiveness), if they mean 'perfect use' it is way ahead of sponge and spermicide alone, and on a par with female condom and NFP methods.

I got pg while EBF (11 months between DCs). So, yes you can be! Test!

I've read plenty of posts on here from women who've EBF and got pg in the first 6 months.
