Cerazette and weight gain...

Hi, I've gained a couple of kilos since I started taking cerazette 3 months ago. Before then I didn't use any contraception (I was single).

If I change to the coil or implant, which I hope to do, is this likely to be the same? Anyone have any experience of this?

The implant is basically the same type of hormone as in cerazette. But the coil is non hormonal so may suit you better? Cerazette is a perfect option for a lot of folk, but it made my hair fall out The other alternative is one of the more traditional mini pills (lower dose of progesterone than cerazette), the disadvantage is you have to take it at pretty much exactly the same time every day or it doens't work.
