And I've been started back on Mercilon as I'm no longer obese so can take the combined pill again 
So relieved. Was losing 120ml of blood a day over Christmas (6 mooncup fuls) and been on Norethisterone to stop the bleeding since whilst I waited for a removal appointment.
Got it put in during May 2012 and was fine apart from a few heavy-ish bleeds was going great up until Dec, but I can't be doing with the anaemia and feeling like hell!
GP initially wanted me to keep it in and keep on the Norethisterone three times a day for the next two and a half years, considering I had it put in to avoid one pill a day I'm not keeping it to take three instead!
Do they get a bonus for every one that stays in the full three years or something?
