Does copper coil affect labido?

I have been struggling with a low sex drive and I am sure it is down to the pill. I have been pill free for 3 months now and suddenly in the last few days I have been feeling a lot more in the mood :) I thought I never would feel like having sex again, but now I'm waiting for the kids bedtime hee hee. So I don't want to take anything hormonal and lose this part of my life again - but the only option is the copper coil, vesectomy or condoms. We are using condoms atm but not exactly ideal in the long term.DH feels squeamish about the snip. I wouldn't mind sterilisation but the family planning nurse said they didn't offer it anymore. Should I insist on one? Coil seems like the best option - but I don't want to risk my labido going down again! Any advice appreciated. By the way I have been on all sorts of pills for the last 15 years - before and after children, and they all had this affect, so please don't advise to try other brands.

Copper coil is brill. Has no effect on libido. I love it :)

No effect on mine either ! Would definitely recommend it.

Another positive here. Had mine for 3 years. No weight gain either!

I've had it fitted since my DS2 2 years ago and have suffered a very low one since. Im also having a lot of problems with it otherwise. Not sure if its the coil or the way pregnancy has affected my body.
