MAP + IUD ?

I had to take the MAP yesterday morning (less than 12 hours after sex) after the condom er... did a bit of a vanishing act

I was already considering having an IUD fitted, so could I have it fitted within the 5 day timeframe as a secondary EC measure, with a view to keeping it in longterm?

it would depend on whether you could get an appointment to get it fitted. I had to wait weeks to get my merina fitted through a family planning clinic

not just a 5 day timeframe. You can have one fitted any time up to day 19 of a 28 cycle as emergency contraception and on going. Ring your GP. Most of us will do almost anything to help to squeeze in an emergency coil fit
