Cerazette and breastfeeding

I;m currently still bf my 9mo, and just about to start cerazette, family planning lady told me this is safe to take while bf, did you take when bf?
Did you have ny side effects??

I did! I started when DS was 10 months old and breastfed him until he was 2.5 years.

No side effects on DS at all, completely fine and dandy.

Only side effect I've ever had is slight weight gain (not entirely sure it's the pill though, more to do with my love of cakes and dislike of exercise) and NO PERIODS. Haven't had a period for 3 years now, it's heaven!
