I'm bf my almost 9month old dd and my periods haven't started yet-
over the last two weeks I have had a pain in my lower abdomen...as in below my pant line iyswim, it's kind of like a constipation type, period cramp feeling BUT for the first time ever last night when DTD with the dh it was painful which I've never had before! It's a pressure/pain that is worse when standing and walking about and I have felt nauseous in the early hours of the morning too and I can't explain what's going on...could it be hormonal?!

I suspect it could be your hormones getting going again prior to your periods re-starting. I felt horrendous for a good few weeks before mine re-started. Having said that I don't remember having pain. Might be worth seeing your GP?

Thanks gaelic I'm thinking that it's everything gearing up again but just wanted to hear some other opinions/experiences...I've heard your periods can be worse after pregnancy as in heavier and more painful I hope it's old wives tales!! Wink

Oh mine have been much much better. Probably the same in heaviness but nowhere near as painful. Smile

Good to hear, I haven't missed the inconvenience one bit! Grin
