reason to worry?

A couple of weeks ago my wife and I got a little drunk at a party and came home to have very passionate sex. For the first 5 minutes or so we foolishly didnt use a condom. She isnt on the pill and we use condoms because she can't afford to get pregnant due to the medication she takes.

She had just finished her period and was on day 8 of her, usually, 28- 29 day cycle.-(sometimes more). I didnt come inside of her, and as I said above, we used nothing for the first 5 mins or so, before I put a condom on.

What are the chances she could be pregnant? Am I worrying needlessly?

Even if you had come inside her it would be unlikely that any of the sperm would survive for the 6/7 days until ovulation. Whether or not pre ejaculate has sperm in it is debatable but assuming that it does it would be a tiny proportion of the full load making it even less likely that any would survive long enough.
