Mirena removal bleeding

Could somebody please maybe shed some light?

I had my Mirena removed on 7/10/11 in prep for ttc #3. I had it taken out a couple of days before I was due for a period in the hope my body would get back to normal asap. I started to bleed very heavily 2 days later and lost a lot of clots which thankfully only lasted a couple of days, I was just left with a regular bleed then. The thing is, I started bleeding 11 days ago and have only stopped for a couple of days and am now bleeding again. Im also getting pains in my side a lower back pain. I think the pain is hormonal but I just want to know when I can expect my cycle to return to normal. Im obviously very keen for it to happen sooner rather than later.

Hi. When I had my Mirena removed the bleeding was awful although I had no pain. I got pregnant the week after removal (had a MC though).
Your body is probably just settling down.
Might be worth popping to the DR for some advice?
