After 5 contraception free years (DD is 3) I went back on the pill last month. The doctor prescribed Yasmin as I've used it before and had no major side effects.
Started the pack on the 1st day of my period - took the last pill today. 2 days after my period stopped I started bleeding again and have been ever since 
.
The bleeding was heavy and period like for a week and ever since has been darker and less in volume but still consistent.
Is this breakthrough bleeding? If so when will it stop? Should I just stop taking it and try something else?
Any advice would be most appreciated
