MICRONOR - does it make you grumpy and give you PMT

I've been taking Micronor for a year or so now after DC2 birth ( I took it before). I'm finding that I get really irrational (grumpy and shouty at the kids and DH ) just before my period is due on the pill. I have had sore boobs and what feels like crampy pains but it's the moodiness that gets me.
Do you think it's Micronor or just me ?

It did for me - maybe ask if you can try a different pill?

I'm in the process of changing from micronor to cerazette as I'm a grumpy old bitch thing for two weeks before every period. Boobs like rocks, face full of craters and a sulk on like no other. Been taking it for a year and its getting worse - doc thinks cerazette might be better as its a different hormone?

TotalChaos · 19/04/2011 19:37

yeah, I had that with Micronor, I found Cerazette a lot better.

Bizarre. I switched from Cerazette to Micronor for exactly the same symptoms. No problems on Micronor at all! Confused

I had terrible PMT during my first period on micronor which I don't normally get but that seems to have calmed down a bit now which is good since I've bled for 12 days out of the last 17 :(
