Coil fitting on AF?

Am due to get a mirena fitted tomorrow and would you blardy believe it my AF has come about 5 days early [grr].
Will it be okay to get fitted tomorrow do yout think - am dreading it as it will be boak!

Nope it is only done once a month at my GPs and I need it fitted asap as we are going abroad later in the year and want to give it a chance to settle in before we go - ie don't want horrific AF if at all possible when away.

your Os is slightly open during your period so it's easier to pass it through.
