I am due to have my Implanon contraceptive implant removed on Monday - will it hurt? Ought I to take someone with me? Do I need to woman up and stop worrying about it?

Thanks.

I had mine removed a couple of months after having it in..it didn't agree with me, i can honestly say it didn't hurt, just a little stingy afterwards, and they put a nice bandage on after :)

I had mine a few months back. The doctor had a really difficult time getting it out, took her ages but did it hurt? No.
Would think about afterwards though... I went to an event with a beautiful dress matched with a corker of a bruise to go with it.
I didn't drive (couldn't of) for a day.
