Hi - well I got my mirena fitted 2 and a half weeks ago. Had a bit of spotting in the first day, then nothing until this last week, and I am now bleeding pretty heavily (heavier than when I was on the pill). It shows no sign of easing - has anyone else experience this, and if so how long did it take to settle down?
I have googled it and it says to expect irregular bleeding for up to 6 months. There is no way I can continue like this for another 6 months.
