Mirena coil and breast lump?

I had the mc fitted in June and had painful lumpy boobs for ages. This all settled but one lump has remained. It is about 3cm, moves around and is painful. Obviously I'm really worried but people keep saying that due to my age (33), lack of family history and the fact it hurts and moves it is unlikely to be sinister.

I'm having it checked out next week at the hospital but just wondered if it could be due to the coil?

Has anyone else had this?

Mirena has progestogen so could give you PMT type breast symptoms like tenderness, lumpiness etc but this one lump sounds a bit persistent to just put down to the mirena.
Glad you are having it checked. Of course you will worry until you know for sure what it is. It sounds like you are getting reassuring advice and that it will likely turn out to be a simple cyst or similar. I hope the appointment goes well and you get some answers.
