NuvaRing anyone?

Hi

I was wondering if anyone uses or knows about NuvaRing and if you can get it in the UK? I spend a bit of time in the States for work and I keep hearing about this over there. After years of (not very reliable) pill-taking, I'm thinking of giving something else a try.

Any thoughts suggestions received gratefully!

Yes mrsmustard it is available in the u.k now and while like all forms of BC it has some rare but nasty side effects it has a lot less than the other forms of hormone contraceptives. here

Thanks FlameGrilled! Also wondered if anyone actually uses it and how they find it?

I use it and love it! DH can feel it from time to time, depending on positioning, but it's been fab.

Thanks expat. I take it you can't feel it in there and it sits quite high up? I'm just thinking that it looks bigger than I imagined... Think I'll ask my GP about it and maybe get some to try for a month with some pills on backup if I don't like it.
