random bleeding - microgynon

hi, i started taking microgynon30 earlier this month and started bleeding yesterday. i still have 3 more days of pills to take and wasn't expecting this breakthrough bleed until next week.

should i be worried?
is it working properly?
i did take one pill 2 weeks ago quite late (6pm instead of 8am) not sure if that makes a difference?

I don't think for the combined pill, the time of day by that many hours would make a difference.

I had bleeding on MG30 but that was supposedly due to cervial erosion. Anyway - I came off it and went onto Loestrin 20 as it's lower in oestrogen. It stopped the bleeding in between straight away.

thanks luciemule, did the MG30 cause the cervical erosion?

They assumed that the amount of oestrogen was too high so yes, implied that. As soon as I started on the lower 20mg Loestrin, it was fine.
