How would i know if my body has rejected my newly fitted coil?

I had real difficulty getting it fitted. Had to make a second appointment to try again. It went in but reluctantly. That was about 4 / 5 weeks ago. Have just finished af... went to check for coil wires and they felt very long... checked earlier in the month and just felt the ends of them. Should i be concerned?

No idea! I would have thought if you can feel them then it's in.

You need to go back.

Really - it is not worth risking (speaking as one whose mirena coil outcome is shouting from the front room "mum, Mum, MUM"

Yeah, I know. Mirena was never found (though was on her first scan - at 18 weeks once I had found I was pg after 6 months of no periods yada yada yada)

I have read from others that if it is too low down it is not effective though, so go get it checked!
