Bleeding after coil fit

Had a copper coil fit 2 weeks ago, have been bleeding lightly since and was mid cycle. Over the past fer days I've been bleeding quite heavily. Still not due period. No pain or anything but anyone got any ideas on whats going on down there?!!

Oh I got that too, for 3 months! Went to the doctor and he told me its quite normal for this to happen, everyone is different and your body will regulate itself over time. However there can be complications with the coil.

It could mean there is an infection, I think you'd be wise to go to the Dr and ask him to check all is well.

Infection down there wouldn't always cause any pain.

Hope it is Ok though.
