Keyboard tutor books.

dd2 (10)wants to learn the keyboard. I am a music teacher and am quite capable of teaching her to at least grade three (I have a grade 6 in the piano and 8 in the clarinet)

Only thing is I have lots of piano tutor books for beginners but want recommendations for a good tutor scheme for the keyboard suitable for her age.

Any keyboard teachers/ players out there? (or mneters whose dcs play?)

Thanks

dd is 10 and is using the Alfred series and another which I forget the name of. Alfred is quite American (talks about half-notes rather than quavers, for example) but her piano teacher likes it because it uses chords straight away. I am also learning using the adult Alfred piano tutor as well as a lot of stuff such as Pauline Hall's Piano Time Easy Classics.

Not heard of that one will have a look on music room. I have the pauline hill tutor book but it seems more for the piano than the keyboard.

I've seen that one- think they have updated it but wasn't sure if it was suitable for a 10 year old.
