Should the activity badges be sown onto the crease line or either side of it?

I.e. when ironed there is a crease down the arm, do the badges go central on this line with half the badge either side so then there is one badge on the crease - so 1 column of badges? Or 1 row of 3?

Or do I put one badge either side of this crease line - so 2 columns?

Google isn’t providing me with any clarity and from what I’ve seen on other kids’ arms there doesn’t seem to be any set way to do it (in fact some are just a complete mess tbh which I can’t cope with).

It depends on how many badges you're going to need to fit on. Go for a line down either side of the crease. But there is no specific instruction, I just think it looks better!

Brill, I’ll go with 2 columns. Thank you.
Only 3 to sow on for now. He started just after the Easter hols just before he turned 5 so I doubt there will be a huge collection of them as he has less than a year left.
