Child is wanting another activity. I never did anything as a kid (no money and my single mum worked all the hours).

We have the means and the time to drop to anything. She already does brownies, swimming and dance.

What else is out there?

A musical instrument, or a choir? Does she like any particular style of music at all?

A team sport

Drama. Find a local theatre group, not one of the franchises. There's always lots to do even if she doesn't want to act -and it's a brilliant way to meet new friends from different schools.
