LAMDA Prose

Hi all, really silly question but for the LAMDA verse and prose exam - at the beginning of my DD’s prose, there is a paragraph written in italics, which gives a background to the selection. Does she recite this to the examiner when she takes the exam? Thanks

No, she won’t recite it but she needs to understand it for the Q&A section. In that she should be able to use her own words rather than have it memorised.
