BBC 500 Words Competition

Hello all,

Is anyone waiting to hear back about whether their child has made it through to the final for the BBC 500 Words Competition? My DD made it through to the second round, so we're just waiting. I wish they gave us a date that they'd let us know by, they just said January in the email.

Yes we're waiting to hear. The website has been updated and says shortlisted children will hear in February. I think my husband and I are more nervous about it than my son is!

My daughter is supposed to be going on a one week residential in the last week of Feb and the deadline for the payment is end of Jan, so I really hope we find out (either way!) before then! Eeek!

@Stargazerlily87 we had an email this morning saying DS hasn't got any further. Hope your DD hears soon too and has better luck!

We haven't heard either way at all - how can I know?
