Buy instruments/ cases from Thomann

Dear parents could I please ask if anyone have experiences with Thomann.uk.
i know that the warehouse is outside Uk so do we have to pay extra for tax when receive parcel in Uk?

I bought my son's electric guitar from here and it was all very smooth- no additional fees other than the price on the site.

I’ve used Thomann a few times and haven’t had to pay custom charges to receive the items. What I paid at the checkout was the final charge. I’ve attached a screenshot from their FAQs

They're very good in my experience. Customer service / Web chat good too from what I recall. I got in touch with them to ask about customs.

We bought my daughter’s clarinet from
them and are happy with both the product and their service. They even fixed her instrument for free (including the shipping back and forth to their workshop) when she dropped it accidentally and broke something. We’ve been very happy.

I've bought quite a bit from them over the years - mainly bows but also cases and the service has always been excellent. My only (v minor) criticism is they can over package a bit.

I've been really happy with their service. We lost (don't ask!) the pedal for an electric piano we bought from them over six years ago and they couldn't have been more helpful in recommending a new pedal (which wasn't as expensive as the one I was going to buy before I asked for their advice). They were really apologetic about the shipping fee in comparison to the cost of the pedal.
