Dofe Silver tomorrow. - Emergency Question

DD is currently in bed, having woken up unwell this morning and has a temperature. She is really wanting to do her practice DofE silver tomorrow as planned but I am not sure. If she didn't have a temp I think it would be ok.

Does anyone know if you don't do the practice are you automatically disqualified from the whole thing?

The school is using a company called Alfresgo.

It depends if they have another practice date available before the actual walk. This happened to someone at my daughter’s school, she was able to join a practice walk with another group but she didn’t know any of them. She got on well so it wasn’t a problem. I am sure there is no time limit as to when they are completed so she could always wait until next year. Hope you get something sorted and DD feels better soon.

There is often a back up practice date.

She can take para and neurofen with her - for my silver I had a girl in my group with a really bad cold who was desperate to complete it.

I just wonder about having a temperature. Whether it's just too much?
