Online Music lessons

Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone's DCs are learning an instrument online? We are wanting to start lessons with our DDs, but not sure online private tuition is a good option?

We found it a lifeline during COVID but wouldn't really go back now. Maybe a rare catch-up lesson with a teacher we already knew but in person works best for us. Others find it gives them the lesson opportunity they wouldn't have due to travel, health, time, availability. I love the relationship my DC have with their teachers and thinks you have to work hard to build that up online. Not impossible though. Mine also play instruments which can be fiddly to adjust so in person better for that. Hope you find something that works for you, music is such a great opportunity for your DC.

@horseymum thanks for that. It's what I assumed tbh. I loved in-person tuition when I was younger learning guitar and violin. Will focus on getting that 1:1 instead.

DD is loving guitar at school as part of class-wide learning do want to continue that at home.
