Theatre tips? Dorset

Hi all - My 12 year old daughter is very keen on acting and would like to audition for youth theatre. How do I find out about available opportunities? Anyone have any tips - we don't know where to start!

I can't speak for the area I'm afraid - but generically I would avoid franchises (like Stagecoach, Razz, PQ). Look at whether your local theatres have a stage school attached, that's usually a good place to start! If they don't they might know of some good ones...

I would start with local Facebook groups. Recommendations are usually a good way to go. In my experience, most offer a taster type session so she could try before you commit financially.
