DS has done the bronze expedition part of the DofE a while back. He isn't sure how they get that bit officially signed off. He also hasn't done the other parts yet - volunteering, physical etc. He has Aspergers so asking questions to people is difficult. School have not been helpful with the teacher sort of dismissing him or giving an answer thats unclear. Given its been a year, is it now too late for him to complete the other parts? And if not, how does he get the expedition bit signed off (it was arranged through school via an external company)

Is he using the online portal or the paper book? If it's the book he should take it into school and get the teacher to sign it, or check his online account to see if it has been signed off. This is usually done at the time of the expedition though.

I will say both of my dc had to have finished two other sections and be working on the third before they were allowed to do the expedition. Usually that's the last bit you do.

If not I'd just email the teacher myself.
